Overview
Restore Your Paint to Perfection
Paint correction is the process of removing surface defects from your vehicle's clear coat using machine polishing. Swirl marks from automatic car washes, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation are all removed — revealing the true depth and clarity of your paint.
At Sleepr Studio, we use professional-grade dual-action and rotary polishers with a range of compounds and polishes to achieve the level of correction your paint needs — from a single-stage enhancement to a full multi-stage correction.

FAQ
Common Questions
Can paint correction remove all scratches?
Paint correction removes defects within the clear coat layer. Deep scratches that penetrate through the clear coat to the base coat or primer cannot be fully removed by polishing alone.
How long does paint correction take?
Stage 1 takes 4–6 hours. Stage 2 takes 8–12 hours. Stage 3 full correction can take 1–2 days depending on vehicle size and paint condition.
Will paint correction thin my clear coat?
Yes — polishing removes a small amount of clear coat. This is why we recommend doing it once properly rather than repeatedly. A ceramic coating after correction protects the remaining clear coat.
Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?
Absolutely. Ceramic coating locks in your paint's current condition. Correcting first ensures you're sealing in perfection, not defects.
How do I prevent swirls after paint correction?
Avoid automatic car washes with brushes. Hand wash with proper technique using a quality wash mitt and two-bucket method. A ceramic coating also adds hardness that resists light swirling.
