Paint Correction Add-On

Ceramic coating locks in your paint's current condition — including swirl marks, light scratches, and water spots. We strongly recommend paint correction before any coating. Here's what to budget:

Single Stage

$299–$499

Removes 50–70% of light swirls and water spots. Best for newer vehicles in good condition.

Recommended

Two Stage

$499–$799

Removes 85–95% of defects. Recommended for most vehicles before a professional or premium coating.

Full Correction

$799–$1,499

Maximum defect removal — 95%+. Required for exotic and show vehicles.

What Affects Ceramic Coating Cost?

  • Coating tier: Entry, professional, and premium coatings use different products with different layer counts and durability ratings. More layers = more cost = more protection.
  • Vehicle size: Larger vehicles have more surface area. A full-size SUV takes significantly more product and time than a compact sedan.
  • Paint condition: Heavily swirled or scratched paint requires correction before coating. Skipping this step means sealing in defects permanently.
  • Number of surfaces: Paint-only pricing is standard. Adding glass coating, wheel coating, or trim coating increases the total.
  • Coating brand: We use FEYNLAB — one of the most respected ceramic coating brands in the industry. We don't use cheap alternatives.

Is Ceramic Coating Worth the Cost?

The short answer: yes — for most vehicle owners, ceramic coating pays for itself within 2–3 years in detailing savings alone. Here's the math:

Without ceramic coating

  • Wax every 3 months: $150–$300/yr
  • Professional detail 2x/yr: $300–$600/yr
  • Paint sealant annually: $100–$200/yr
  • Total: $550–$1,100/yr

With ceramic coating

  • No waxing needed
  • Wash time cut by 50%+
  • Fewer professional details needed
  • Protects resale value

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does ceramic coating take to apply?

A professional ceramic coating takes 1–3 days depending on the tier and whether paint correction is included. Entry-level coatings on clean paint can be done in a day. Full correction + premium coating is typically 2–3 days.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Entry coatings last 2 years, professional coatings last 5 years, and premium coatings last 10 years with proper maintenance. Annual maintenance washes help extend the coating's life.

Can I wash my car after ceramic coating?

We recommend waiting 7 days before washing to allow the coating to fully cure. After that, hand washing with a pH-neutral soap is best. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes.

Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?

Ceramic coating adds hardness to your paint surface (up to 9H) and resists light swirls from washing. It does not prevent rock chips or deep scratches — that's what PPF is for. Many owners combine both.

What's the difference between ceramic coating and wax?

Wax sits on top of your paint and wears off in weeks. Ceramic coating chemically bonds to the paint and lasts years. It's significantly harder, more hydrophobic, and far more durable than any wax or sealant.

Do you offer a warranty on ceramic coating?

Yes — our professional and premium coatings come with a manufacturer-backed warranty against coating failure. We also offer a lifetime warranty option on select packages.
